Which One Will You Feed?

One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people.

He said, "My son, the battle is between two"wolves" inside us all.One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, falsepride, superiority, and ego.The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather:"Which wolf wins?"

The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."

This was sent to me by a friend I don't know who wrote it but it's very wise.

None of us plan to feed the evil wolf, but if we examine our lives how many times have we fed the evil wolf and starved the good wolf.

It's all about choice. So which wolf will you feed next time someone yells curses in your face? or the next time a coworker gets a promotion based not on experience or preformance but on the kissing up factor?

If life and all that we want for ourselves where easy, would it really be worth having?
The struggle is in us first then I think we manifest it into our lives.

So there again we have choice. Times have been bad in the world and I have a feeling that this is only the first spiral down. But there is always hope for light.

May you be safe I pray this each day for all mankind not just those I know personally.
May you be strong within your heart and soul to face each day with hope, love, wisdom and peace.

If we hold on to these things and we change ourselves and we change the world.

Keeping all in my thoughts, my heart and my prayers.
